Aston Martin Valhalla is finally entering production — worth the six-year wait?

The Valhalla has had one of the longest, most turbulent development stories of any modern supercar — repeated concept revisions, a change in hybrid architecture partway through, years of delay. Production is finally starting in 2026 with the twin-turbo V8 plus three electric motors setup, north of 1,000 horsepower combined. As someone who owns a Huayra R I don't have a horse in this particular race, but I respect any manufacturer willing to keep re-engineering a flagship rather than shipping a compromised version just to hit a deadline. The question now is whether six years of hype has set expectations impossibly high. Anyone actually placed an order back when this was announced, still waiting?
