Trip report: three days at Silverstone as a first-timer

Finally made the trip over for the British GP this year after years of talking about it. Quick honest report for anyone considering it for next season: The campsite atmosphere on Friday and Saturday night was worth the ticket price alone — total strangers from a dozen countries, all completely obsessed with the same thing. Sunday's grandstand at Stowe gave an incredible view of the cars working through that corner at full commitment. Only downside: the walk back to the car park after a race that finishes under safety car felt longer than it should have, everyone a bit deflated. Would 100% go again.
