Epicarean is a community built around a shared passion for exceptional automobiles. To keep this space welcoming and valuable for everyone, all members are expected to follow these rules. Violations may result in post removal or account suspension.
Respect & Civility
Treat every member with respect, regardless of their opinions, knowledge level or background. Aggressive language, personal attacks, insults and hostile behaviour of any kind are strictly prohibited. Debate the idea, never the person.
No Hate Speech or Discrimination
Racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, religious intolerance and any form of discrimination will result in immediate and permanent account removal. There is no tolerance for content that demeans or targets individuals or groups based on their identity.
No Obscene or Inappropriate Content
Obscene, sexually explicit, gratuitously violent or otherwise inappropriate content is not permitted. Keep all posts suitable for a general adult audience. Profanity used aggressively or to demean others will be moderated.
Stay On Topic
Keep discussions relevant to the automotive world — cars, events, technology, history and culture. Off-topic posts, trolling and intentional thread derailing will be removed. Use the appropriate category when creating a new thread.
No Spam or Self-Promotion
Advertising, unsolicited commercial links, referral codes and repetitive posts are not allowed. If you want to share a business, product or service, contact us directly. Duplicate posts and flooding the forum with low-quality content will be removed.
No Misinformation
Share accurate information to the best of your knowledge. If you are unsure, say so clearly. Deliberately spreading false technical information or fake news about manufacturers and events undermines the quality of the community.
Respect Privacy
Do not share personal information about other members without their explicit consent. This includes real names, contact details, location data or any other private information. Doxxing in any form is an immediate permanent ban.
Report, Don't Retaliate
If you encounter a post that violates these rules, do not engage or escalate — simply contact the moderation team. Retaliating against rule-breaking with more rule-breaking will be treated as a separate violation.
